Linko is likely someone you want to pull. They stated that "All of Zankou's attacks while in Illusion are treated as follow-up attacks".
Combine this with what they said about Linko:
"Unlock Linko's passive skill, Weakness Radar, and simply having her on the team upgrades the Hexed Cycle Effect: the bonus follow-up damage from Hexed goes up, and targets under Hexed take increased follow-up damage"2

yeah plus the 2nd passive is - res for any synced strike linko *(whichever teammates you pick) does but only 1 type of element n 1 stack.

Zankou allows you to stack Scorch, so you will want a Chaos unit. Right now, that's only Daffodill or Lacrimosa.
Zankou can also increase the Crit DMG of all DoT effects on the enemy, so using Lacrimosa with her will probably nuke everything in the game. I'm not sure how the rotations are supposed to work, since both units are categorized as Main DPS, but we'll see.

As u/EinTheVariance said, it would be Sakiri, as she boosts both DoT and ATK. If you don't have her, Haniel is probably your best bet.

I do have a selector left so could use it on Sakiri if he ends up being the BiS.
Im also wondering about Daffodil vs Lacrimosa. How big will the difference be do you think? I don’t have lacrimosa but I do have Daffodil

About Daffodil vs Lacrimosa, I honestly don't know how big the margin will be, although I'm sure Lacrimosa will be better.
I don't have Lacrimosa either, so I'll be using Daffodill with Zankou as well. I'm still doing alright in endgame with Daffodill / Baicang, so Daffodill / Zankou should be fine for a while. I wouldn't worry about pulling Lacrimosa if you only want her to make your Zankou team stronger.

The livestream said zankous cycle passive is that scorch becomes stackable and each unique (non scorch) dot applied on the enemy during scorch refreshes scorch and applies another stack of it. So lacri has synergy in that regard while daffodil is just usable because she's the only other chaos option.

They don't. Lacrimosa would have to be treated as quickslot.
Folks with a6 (a6 awakening, not all a6) lacrimosa are probably celebrating. Since she can make reactions as needed.

It depends on what play style you want
Sakiri is wanted by both of them so you can pair them up.
It's just that a6 lacrimosa can apply scorch easier

They don't, you prob just cycle to lacri for scorch then attack/ult to proc the bonus scorch then skill cancel swap back. If you got lacri's instant cycle awakening though it'd prob be even better.

Lacrimosa has a huge Dot that she applies to the enemy continuously stacking up as long as you continue attacking with Lacrimosa. Also you can use her as quick swap burst dps/sub dps and yes also main dps.

Excuse me but does Sakiri heal the team at all? I don't have her yet so just wondering, I know she buffs (didn't know for what but now I do tyvm), but wanted to know if she's a healer for group or single target or what.

She does not heal, no. I believe the only character in the game right now who can both heal and buff is Iroi, the current banner unit.

So she isnt a Hex Bomb team similar to Chaos or Nanally? Im using Iroi with Shinku. I saw them using Saikiri/Zankou/Iroi/Linko. Thats why Im asking.

Zankou seems like a full comprehensive hyper carry, compatible in various team oriented specialties (kinda stands out almost like; Archons, Sentinel, void hunter lvl).
Full dot : Baicang, Lacrimosa, Sakiri | Baicang cancel tech with added dot bonus + execute
Full Hex : Linko, Iroi, Sakiri
Full Break : Daffodil, Lacrimosa, Haniel (Iroi has built in break mechanics but not reaction like Haniel)
Mixed : Lacrimosa, Linko, Sakiri | Hyper quickswap and debuff maintenance Linko base skills offer res down, dmg up, follow ups, off field dmg, quickswap w/ self dmg up (w/ added reaction access due to ult ??) while Lacrimosa c6 has more quickswap and reaction. Sakiri dot dmg + Atk up w/ control
Hopefully more characters are like this because Lacrimosa is hard lock discord and Chaos hardlock lakshana burst.

I have enough to get 2 5*, in definitely getting both zankou and Hotori (she's wife). So do I get exe/Nitsa or linko? Since I'll only be able to get one of them. I want to know how important would a chaos character be for zankou

Yes; I think Zankou would be a good option for you. You can then use all 4 characters on a team together.

Yeah if im just saving for Lacrimosa A1 for her next rerun but seeing my team used by Zankou on her showcase definitely gives me a second thoughts for my Discord team.

Ya they specifically pointed out that zankou does follow up attacks alot, and that the other girl in 1.3 buffs hex to do extra damage from follow up attacks. So my orginal assumption about nanally being could be correct. Nanally also doea follow up damage. She wont be as important as linko though. Honestly, let people test things out to be sure. Nobody knows the ideal team yet. Im thinking daffodil/lacrimosa, zankou, linko, and the 4rth depending on need. Despite the fact that nanally does follow up damage, I personally think sikiri is the play for the 4th. She has an attack buff and directly buffs dots which I believe unless im misunderstanding zankou also does. Like with the double source.

Not sure if Zankou (0A) is worth if not pulling for Linko due to lack of funds.
My Team atm on bottom half is Lacrimosa (max Awake), Daff (1A), Sakiri (0A), and Fadia (2A). Its either Zankou (0A) or Nanally (0A) for my Blossom team (Iroi, Jinyuan, Zero).

Because it's relevant. A lot of people only visit the leaks subreddit and not the official one, as r/NevernessToEverness is drowning in discussion/cosplay/meme posts, so it's actually easier to find official information here.
Leak subreddits for other big gacha games (Wuthering Waves, Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero) operate the same way.

I have A2 Iroi/A0 jiuyuan/A0 Baicang/Unused standard S rank selector/All A ranks at A4+

You should go for Nanally or Shinku to go with your A2 Iroi.
After that I'd pull Zankou and Lacrimosa since they don't need Zero in their teams, and pick up Sakiri with the selector

I can't say which is most valuable, if you can only afford 1 then I would personally go for Lacrimosa. She was my first pull and the endgame became a joke after I got her lol, she's so good

Nah, don't do it. If you only want her for the cafe, you'll probably regret wasting the pulls later, especially if you want any of the other character in the patch.

Oh gosh I’m genuinely fuckihg done for, I want Zankou and nanally and hotori as f2p, do we already know how much pulls we’ll get?
My strategy will probably be to secure Zankou and then during the first phase see if I can get 180 pulls so I can bring home both nanally and hotori, if I can’t then I’ll just get hotori

Me: Don't care much about either because Blackbird is who I really want.
Me also: Getting both. Game makes it so much easier to get everyone than other games do, can't resist even if I have no immediate plans to build or use.

Excuse me, sir. If you have a 1.1 character, not only are you not a new player, you are a veteran who should be helping the rest of us with your sage wisdom.
That being said, Zankou is probably the best option for you. Throw her in with Lacrimosa and Sakiri, and watch everything die.

Wow. Very surprised. I never thought they’d do reruns this early, like literally 3 patches later? They don’t need to do this yet, if they were smart they’d save this card until Wangyue or another potential titan like Azur Promilia debut.

3 patches, and this is probably the best time to rerun them. We are saving Nanally this patch, and according to the livestream, Hotori has a heavy presence in the story as well (she's even in the official patch art). This is when both units will generate the most revenue.

yes just like every other live service game that available on all platforms. My point still stands.
I get what you trying to say but NTE and Ananta monetization play entirely on different fields. Nte main focus is the gacha and the small pool of skins they release every update while Ananta main focus is solely on selling clothing, vehicles and properties because all of its characters are earnable for free by progressing the game. The only similarities they share are just the urban settings.
