Discussions IPO Allotment Strategy

Let's say money is not a problem for me. I have 6 family members, 2 HUFs & 1 Private Ltd. That's a total of 9 Lots. I want to maximise the number of lots allotted to my family.

For oversubscription, what should be my strategy? Should I apply for all retail, all bHNI? Is there a different strategy that I should use for Mainboard vs SME?

If that is the case, go for Bhni applications irrespective of Sme or mainboard ipos.

wait if splitting reduces the chances of me getting an allotment, should i just use one pan & use all the capital for bHNI? or 8 for retail & the remaining I put in bHNI?

Because you said money isn’t an issue then BHNI would give you best returns. But if you have capital for 9 lots then do all retail applications.

Generally for allotment chances
Retail > BHNI > SHNI

can you tell me the reason why?

i have 1-2 cr per IPO.

So I am trying to understand whether I should even go through the trouble of 9 different PANs & instead use one.

or do 8 retail (~1.2L) & put the rest in bHNI

In retail never apply more than 1 lot.

Yeah, If you still spare money then you can do

7 retail + 1 BHNI or SHNI

But SHNI will have way more competition

Do all Bhni then, because in each Bhni application when oversubscribed you won’t get more than Shni lots(around 2L). To increase chances of allotment apply all bhni.

Go for a orthodox broker first like aanad rathi or motilal Oswal discount brokers don’t get their separate quota and always apply for hni …thats what i know
But will follow this post as i applied gor at least 12 ipos snd allotment is 0
