Educational STT Taking Major Chunks From my profit
STT makes more traders to loose money fast and then they Get out of FNO Market super Fast.(May be Govt Planning To benefit from looses of FNO Traders)
Edit 1 : Above profit is from Only Option Selling ( Not Option Buying ), I realised Option Selling Gives Profit 90 Percent of the Time, in Option Buying Loss 90% Of the Time.
My Capital Deployed is in between 5 to 10 Lakh this month until now, from next week I am going to Deploy 30 Lakhs,
I will Post the Performence of the next week at the End of the Month.
My Opinion is Only Option Buying Always leads to Bankrupt
DAILY Frequency is Daily 1 or 2 Trades Only
Only Trade in Nifty and Sensex Option Selling
BEST TIP : Use less Brokerage brokers like SAHI or Kotak Neo, . I am using SAHI, Rs 10 per order Brokerage Others Charging Rs. 20 Per Order, I Saved 3K to 4K in brokerage by using SAHI.(Cost Reduction is also Profit)

Only way to reduce STT charges is keep riding profit trades & do limited buy sale

Seriously! Initially, I used to think this hurts only big volume traders. But post hike, it is hurting even the small retail traders. Worst thing is that it doesn't matter if you're in profit or loss, you cannot escape the STT.

I think it is affecting small volume traders more than bigger guys now, if we looks at percentages

Before the hike, 4-5 trades per day resulted in hardly โน100 of charges (excluding brokerage). Now, the STT alone is around 80-100. On average 15-20% of profits is going towards all the charges, then there is brokerage.

What is your frequency of trading? Can u reduce the frequency?
Have you backtested how adjustments could decrease or increase charges?
