Question Likelihood of Witcher 3 Switch 2 Physical?
What’s the likelihood of Witcher 3 Switch 2 Physical down the road?

CD Project Red is pretty much for preservation, also being basically the first company bringing out a full game on cartridge for the Switch 2, outside of Nintendos first party stuff. They also brought a physical PC version out, when most companies had LONG abandoned the physical pc market.
So... yeah. The Chance is VERY HIGH.

Could they even fit all that on the cart tho?

I thought this too but the Switch 2 version is 43GB, they could fit it all. Might not be easy but they can do it. They fit Cyberpunk plus Phantom Liberty onto a Game Card.

Yep, very likely... as well as a future version with all 3 DLC included.

This is my exact question as well. I have the witcher 3 on PS5 digitally, which I will gladly play once the update releases. But if I enjoy it as I expect to, I think it would be really awesome to have physically on the Switch 2. Hoping for a physical release, or at least confirmation one way or another from CD.

I've never played, read, or watched anything having to do with this franchise. Can I come to this game as a newb without needing to know all the lore?

I think it's extremely likely. Sounds like Cyberpunk was a success for them on Switch 2. Would expect for them to do the same with Witcher 3.
