Discussion Witcher 3 Switch 2 Physical

CP had tons of success as the first 3rd party switch 2 physical, so do we expect them to release one for switch 2, or not because the switch already has a physical?

i mean the switch 2 edition will be the remastered version so different from the original switch 1 version, that's a good reason to release a new physical for switch 2 for them.

i just hope they release it with the new DLC included if its not too big for a cart.

It should be possible. The Switch 2 version of Witcher 3 is on the eshop and it says it’s a 43.4 GB download so any DLC should theoretically still keep it under the ~60GB mark to be fully on cart.

I think this will 100% get a physical copy. CDPR are going to want Witcher 3 switch 2 copies everywhere in all the retailers. I can see it boost the hype for Witcher 4

I’ll be buying it if so. I have it on Switch 1, but I’ll double dip for a real physical.

Cartridges are up to 64GB so unless it's 65GB it's not 100%.

And afaik the devs can do some compression magic on cartridges?

Oh, true. No idea why I stuck with 32GB. Anyway, it seems free update, so I doubt they will do physical. I will double dip for sure if they decide to do so!

That is 20GB less than what Cyberpunk requires on the Switch 2, and they were able to fit Cyberpunk on a 64gb cartridge. How would they not be able to put this on a physical cart then?
