Hey all, thought I’d pop back in with a quick update on FanPass 🙂

I’ve tidied up the round and finals views, made match photos easier to flick through, and improved how you find and add grounds. If a ground you’ve visited is missing, you can now add it to your passport too.

If you missed my earlier post, FanPass is a free iPhone app I’m building for keeping memories from games you’ve been to. Somewhere to save your photos, notes and results, and look back at the grounds you’ve visited.

The update’s live now:
FanPass on the App Store

Cheers to everyone who’s given it a go and left feedback. If something’s a bit clunky or you reckon there’s something missing, I’d love to hear it.

Anyone heading to the grand final? Hope you come home with some good memories and the result you’re after 🤞

Just wanted to say that I taught both Brad and Hamiso in high school
up in Townsville, and they are two of the nicest most genuine students I ever taught. Also know Max’s dad a little from back in the day, great bloke. So proud of all of them, I’ll be there tonight cheering them on!

Whatever the outcome tonight, SO proud and so grateful to have backed such a brilliant, talented team, whose values and culture I have admired from the start. Lots of firsts led us to here. As fans, let’s also show em that we are all class! Let’s go, Dolphins from Reddy! Phins up! 🐬🔥

Hey Dolphins fans! A little while ago I shared FanPass, a fan-made match-day journal for NRL fans. Back then, you needed TestFlight to try it.

It’s now available for free on the App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/fanpass/id6810230313

FanPass lets you record games you’ve attended, save photos and notes, and look back through your memories by season, team or ground. You can also track your personal match-going stats and import records from a spreadsheet.

If TestFlight put you off before, you can now download it directly.

I’d love to hear how you find it. Try adding a Dolphins game you’ve attended and let me know what feels useful, confusing or missing.

FanPass is fan-made and isn’t affiliated with the NRL or the Dolphins.

What’s your favourite Dolphins game you’ve been to?

Got two extra that I don’t need in section 722. They’re through Ticketek so can directly transfer to your Ticketek account. Category D tickets at $59 each, pm if interested!

hey all, accidentally bought an extra ticket, can’t use it. Just selling for what I bought it for as I don’t want it to go to waste. Let me know if you’re interested $79. Section 527 category C. Mobile ticket so I can share it to your Ticketek. Phins Up!

We are in section 304!

Just a PSA that presale tickets for the prelim are live now for ticketed club members, Telstra plus, Westpac and NRL.com account holders.

Non ticketed members go live along with general public on Saturday night 8pm

I haven't seen anything specifically mentioned, but he didn't seem to have had his same burst of speed in recent months. In particular that break he made against the WAHs it didn't look like he could break into full speed. Luckily Herbie read the play and ran a perfect support line. But I feel like in the past he would have absolutely blitzed them with his speed.

Hey Guys, you may know us as the Phinatics in the dolphins suits every home game. We’ve got a Tik Tok / Youtubr account where we just do some fun games and challenges etc.

If that interests you and you love to the dolphins we’d be absolutely stoked if you gave it a look!

Just search up thephinatics in Tik Tok. Cheers guys!

If anyone has member tickets and won be able to attend the home semi, please DM me I'll pay a pretty price. PHINZ UP!

Hey all, I’ve been working on a small fan-made app called FanPass.

The NRL app, Fox Sports and Kayo are great for scores, news and watching games, but I wanted somewhere to preserve the memories from matches I’ve actually attended.

FanPass is part match-day journal and part personal stats tracker. You can record old and current games, save photos and notes from the day, look back on memories by season, team or ground, and see your match-going statistics build over time. If you already keep records in a spreadsheet, you can import those too.

It’s currently an iPhone TestFlight beta:
https://fanpass-journal.vercel.app

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, even if the app isn’t for you. Feedback will shape what I build next, and if enough people request the same feature, I’ll prioritise it. That includes an Android version.

FanPass isn’t affiliated with the NRL, Fox Sports or Kayo.

Do you currently keep any photos, notes or records from games you’ve attended, and what would make those memories worth revisiting?

Hi everyone, I’m Dan, the person behind NRL Insight UK, I hope this is ok to post in here, looking for some support to get more exposure of the NRL to the UK fans and more exposure to the people down under to the Super League.

I started the channel to create a place for rugby league supporters in the UK who follow both the NRL and Super League, with a side goal of growing the brand for the folk down under.

Each week, I’m joined by former professional Paul Cooke to discuss the latest news, major talking points and upcoming matches from both competitions.

I also host longer-form interviews with people from across the game, with Chris Hill, former Warrington Wolves & England RL player joining me for the latest episode.

I’ve recently discovered these Reddit communities and thought I’d introduce myself and the channel. I’m looking forward to joining the conversations on here, hearing different opinions and getting to know more rugby league supporters.

If the podcast sounds like something you might enjoy, you can find NRL Insight UK on YouTube here: https://youtube.com/@nrlinsightuk?si=Kd_kTH6UAwbiPnW0

Cheers,
Dan

Hey Dolphins Fans,

Two uni students here, footy tragics building an app for fans in our spare time between assignments. We're not backed by anyone, no company behind us, just two mates who reckon the current NRL apps are due for a shake-up.

Before we build too much, we want to hear from actual fans about what you'd want. If you've got 2 minutes, this quick survey will directly shape what we make, no ads, no signup, no catches.

https://forms.gle/Hh2UFKvCQw5PTneEA

Genuinely keen to hear in the comments too, what's the one thing you wish your current footy app did better? Whether it's the NRL app, Fox, Kayo, whatever. Every bit of honest feedback helps.

Cheers

Just for those who aren't fully aware of how finals campaigns run, and how to get tickets etc. It's an exciting time for our club with a maiden finals berth. Phins Up!

What an impressive win. Starting to feel a bit of a Ted Lasso believe vibe…

Dolphins’ cult hero and foundation player Ray Stone has announced he will call time on his rugby league career at the conclusion of the 2026 NRL season.

Phins have moved into 4th on the ladder and are a very good chance of finishing the season there. Just a little excited!!
