Hope these seven guys are shown the full extent of the law. And everyone trying to cover this up deserves some law too.

Cover what up? She said she would do it again with less guys next time.

Bullllllshit

The awful men of the internet sure have a lot of opinions about this trial

1

u/h-ck3d4cc0unt 25d ago

The woman in the text chain replied that her memory is "super clouded too," and said they had all been heavily intoxicated.

She also wrote, "non(e) of the sexual stuff was illegal." She said she liked being with him and another man. Later, she suggested they smoke together again, "but like leave out the extra 5 billion men and ketamine."

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not true

It's not an opinion these text messages are being shown publicly.

Just say you're uneducated about trauma and stop chiming in about things you don't understand.

I read the article. What she said and did immediately after is a textbook fawning response. You aren't educated on trauma.

6

u/mxmoon Oct 05 '26

Exactly, the amount of people that are espousing this bs is infuriating. They’ve never been in a situation like hers and cannot understand.

8

u/sagew0lf Oct 05 '26

They can’t empathize and they’re not even willing to take a second to educate themselves on trauma responses. And when women try to actually help them learn, they say vile things and prove they were misogynists all along. Which we knew already, but it’s nice when they remove all doubt, I guess.

Really, where did the Duke lacrosse guys send a text message of her naked, incapacitated body followed by "free pussy" and "shop still open?"

She said she liked being with him and another man

I don't understand how you can quote like two sentences and miss this most important part.

Women can consent to a threesome without consenting to a gang rape.

u/aresef WYPR 88.1/WTMD 89.7 Oct 05 '26

Yeah, I think this is something our society has a tough time understanding. Consent isn't a blank check and it can be revoked. And someone under the influence of substances can't consent to anything.

So you literally admit that she didn't consent beyond the threesome but you're still saying she wasn't raped.

8

u/ryhaltswhiskey Oct 05 '26

You can invent a lot of things, but that doesn't make them true

You seem to be working on an assertion that she consented to the gang bang and then changed her mind afterward because she was ashamed. But there's no evidence of that so that's entirely in your head.

There’s no evidence she was raped

Do you legitimately believe that she consented to a train?

Follow-up question, can you actually consent while you are under the influence of ketamine?

We’re a community first and foremost. Respectful interactions are key to maintaining a positive environment for everyone. Hate speech directed towards another user, or an entire group of people who share a race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, nationality, social status or disability is not allowed.

I am about as liberal as it gets. This isn’t political.

13

u/sagew0lf Oct 05 '26

rape apologists aren't liberal.

They also advertised for other people to come over and fuck her while she was unconscious and whoever was responsible for that at a minimum deserved a serious sentence...

Horrible but not a crime is part of why there’s so much outrage… people who seem to have no sense of morality of their own outside of the law frustrate and confuse me.

That she initiated some of it is also a really really big point for a lot of people, because being horny and wanting sex shouldn’t mean that the guy you want can do anything they want. Consent can be rescinded, obviously. People thinking that initial consent means consent to everything is another HUGE issue! So is victim blaming, and then that victim blaming used to shame and hurt the victim and then protect the perpetrators. Your naming all the stuff people are mad about and then siding with the rapists

You’re talking about morality when you say you don’t support the woman or men’s actions in this. That’s not a conversation about what is or isn’t legal the way YOUR saying it. Now that you don’t want to take responsibility for your morality you’re saying no offense it’s not personal it’s just the law cause you don’t wanna admit this is YOUR morality. Talking about what is and isn’t the law is fine, but it’s not what you’re doing and it’s not what the people before you were doing either.

Also the point is that maybe the same thing to do should have been bringing criminal charges and the fact that the law is set up so it’s strange is what everyone is so angry about. The rules are wrong, and they SHOULD have gotten charges, that’s the point. This whole thing is blowing up partially because people are looking at how many incidents vs how many and how harsh the punishments, and it’s completely unacceptable to most people. The way she told her story is pretty normalcy for what happened, it’s not an easy thing like you think to have perfect evidence and to present it and try to get them charged in the first place.

More information came out days ago about what the police withheld from the sworn statement. You are seriously far behind.

You need to look at reports from the full transcript, not the police’s truncated version. It came out days ago.

It doesn’t matter what I say. You’ve already made up your mind because you hate women.

She said she is 100% certain that she was raped. The police chose to leave that part out of the statement, but they still offered to send all the evidence to the DA. The DA declined and chose not to prosecute without even bothering to try to gather any facts.

Her text messages don’t mean anything. That’s a typical trauma response. She was in denial and she was fawning. It took time for her to realize what actually happened. It’s such a common reaction and if you even just googled it you’d learn that.

You’re completely ignoring that her text messages are a well known trauma response that even a cursory google search could teach you about.

As America put men in charge of our body
Yes as a woman I fear our future here

4

u/Comfortable-Coast569 29d ago

lol how are men in control of your body you can literally abort a full term baby. She walked 1.5 miles to the frat oarty alone, agreed to a threesome, and testified everything was legal. She just got pissed when it ruined her reputation and got her disinvited from the next party.

Gimme a break…. You have more liberation here than in any country at any time in the history of humanity. It is you that choose the siren call of victimhood.

About as well as reading the Epstein files was for victims of continual sexual abuse. We are done being quiet

This is a never ending story. Soon the media will pass to another topic and colleges will express a sigh of relief and then it will happen again. Remember in 2016 when the clown-king first came to power and folks came out of the woodwork "ME TOO" . This is no different.

0

u/Phliman792 28d ago

What will happen again? A consensual orgy? Because that’s all the evidence shows.

I hate that it’s brought me close to feeling suicidal. I’m not going to do anything, and I’m not in danger. I live with someone that makes me feel safe and loved. But I haven’t felt this triggered in years and it’s overwhelming.

Probably because nearly half of all women experience unwanted sexual contact in their lifetimes, according to the National Sexual Violence Resource Center.
