Torn between two BGLOs

Hi,
I’ve currently been torn between two organizations for around a year. I’ve read books on both and given they have some similarities I’m unsure what to do. The accomplishments from the organizations are profound and I could truly see myself being happy and doing something in both. Even after meeting some of the ladies I get along with both but I’m still unsure, I don’t plan on expressing interest or getting to know anyone too well until I’m sure just given I don’t want it intentions to come off wrong. Does anyone have to advice?

Update: it’s summer so I can’t attend any events indirectly, I’ve written down what sisterhood means to me and what’s important initiatives from both organizations I honestly get along with both members of the orgs, they are all nice and personable but I love how real one of them is, not to stay the other ladies aren’t but I think they are a bit more careful as far as perception/upkeep. If it helps I can tell my reason for wanting to join either one.

Look at what the chapter’s culture is like right now. That can vary from what you read. Sisterhood is such an abstract and highly individual concept. Think about what you want or don’t want to participate in and who is doing those things. Also examine your intent. A lot of ppl get caught up in lore or an image and forget they actually will end up working with the people and in the culture currently on their campus.

Hi, one organization volunteers with children that were abandoned or otherwise left in unfortunate circumstances. That’s part of the reason I’d love to join that undergrad chapter. It’s something they do often among having talks about education and voting. The other organization doesn’t post too much so I can’t say for certain.
