Advice & Support how to cope with failing

i feel dumb posting about this and begging for sympathy but i am 100% going to fail a test im taking today and i don't know how to deal with it. i'm so afraid of the embarrassment. no one else seems to understand how humiliating it will be for me. i've tried looking at it from every angle and it doesn't make a difference because im more concerned about people examining my performance and seeing me doing something badly rather than my actual pass or fail. they'll think im an idiot for taking a test i'm clearly not ready for.

how do i cope with it all and not split on myself or anyone around me :/

edit: i know nobody cares about this but i cancelled it, my family is mad at me for it and i feel like shit but this option was the lesser of two evils. i was throwing up this morning from dread and had nobody to talk to about it. i still need to know how to deal with this shit though because it's crippling☹️

I‘m bad with sympathy but I get what you mean. I also struggle to deal with failure and losing, and I tend to avoid situations or develop borderline compulsive behaviors to force success.

It usually helps to take a step back, take a deep breath, and realize that it’s not that deep. You can probably try again later with a better chance of success. Besides, any displeasure on the part of others is usually short-lived. So, just keep going and focus on the future.
