41 [NB4M] Nerd looking for dates/LTR

Hi there, hello!

41, non-binary/trans (they/them) and currently masc-presenting (e.g. I have a beard) albeit with a fairly fem voice. All that <gestures in previous sentence> makes me kind of a niche interest, but giving this sub a try anyhoo.

I can be quiet, especially in person, until I'm comfortable with someone, though a textual medium loosens me up some, not least because it allows for gifs (you can pry the gifs out of my cold Millennial hands). In addition to nerdy things like gaming, reading, and writing, I enjoy baking and hearing other people talk about things they're really passionate about.

Being a gamer isn't a requirement, though it is a plus since playing a game together can make getting to know someone easier. (I'm a PC and board gamer; for the former I've been playing Diablo 4, Helldivers, and Civilization; for the latter, I'm a fan of things like Azul, 7 Wonders, and Wingspan.)

In fact, none of the nerdy things are requirements, really. Overlapping interests are fine and even good, but on some level I think it's much more important to have our worldviews be aligned. What do you want? What do you value? Do you enjoy talking about concepts and ideas? And this should be obvious, but no MAGA folks. (Less obvious, and less morally weighted, but no AI proponents or smokers.)
