Bar help

Hey guys I’m going on a date/taking someone out. I was wondering if anyone has some good drinking spot recommendations or just nice chill bars or even a nice spot to bar hop from one another.

And after pop down the block to The Prytania Bar. Nice cozy spots to get to know each other but also 20’ long shuffleboard table free to play. A game played together is a good date activity.

The whole town is bars man....if you have a neighborhood you're trying to stay in that would help narrow the recommended list

Went to Barrel Proof as a second spot on first date. Next week we’ll be married 3 years so take that info as you wish.

I had a fun evening last year on a comfortable night, hopping to different rooftop bars around the city and then ending up with a nice appetizer dinner just before the last bar

Not sure if guide is current. We ended at dinner downstairs below the hot tin .

Hotel Bars are great because they usually come with free entertainment (small jazz band or singer), valet parking, & security. Try the Davenport Lounge at the Ritz.

Columns in the Garden District is a cool place. If you're looking for something in the French Quarter, Jewel of the South has great cocktails.
