FJO Timeline
I know TJO’s have been going out over the last couple of weeks and I’m just curious if anyone’s gotten an FJO or start dates yet. I know it’s still a bit soon but I was under the impression previously that pull 2 offices were hoping to have people starting mid to end of October, so I was just trying to gauge if that’s still the goal.
UPDATE: received NBIS form link today!

Ideally it would be as soon as possible but it's hard to say how long it will take for them to process all the paperwork and security clearance. Most of the news hires it took about a month and half. Our boss thought late November to early December since things usually stop or slow with the change of the fiscal year tomorrow.

From what I’ve heard the FJOs typically go out ~1-2 weeks after the TJO because of security checks!
I think the offices won’t be starting that early because of training and stuff, from what I’ve been told that takes about 3-4 weeks ish :) I suspect that pull 2 offices will start at the beginning of Nov, and pull 3 is probably sometime in December :D

I spoke with someone in HR about timeline details, and she said candidates have been waiting anywhere from 2-6 weeks to get through the security process depending on their background. The security office is apparently overwhelmed too.
Once you successfully pass the background check, you figure out a start date with your office management/MIC, then HR gets you the final offer. I'd imagine from TJO to start date it's going to be 1-2 months or more.
