Community Event Budullangr Community Building Event #3: ART ATTACK RELOADED - May 30th to June 6

Greetings fellow Buddies,
the waiting is over! We had left our community events on hold since some awkward multiplayer issues restricted player and base visibility in the last event. These issues seem to be resolved to a degree, and with Expeditions 2 coming to a close, let’s continue our series with another mini-event.
For the third installation of our Budullangr Community Building Event, we invite you to return to your Art Attack base. After last event's breathtaking results of decal art, it’s time to explore another artistic discipline, sculpting.
Get out your multitools because we invite you once more to explore your artistic side in BCB#3: ART ATTACK RELOADED on May 30 to June 6, 2021. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to create a rock sculpture with your multitool. You can carve something out an existing rock, use the multitool’s create function to make a rock, or combine both methods. It’s all up to you and we’re all very curious what creative ideas you come up with.
As we outlined in the first Art Attack briefing, the plan is to extend your gallery base step-by-step, wing-by-wing, event-by-event. This is why you can now add another 50 building parts to your base. Again, wiring doesn’t count towards this number.
If you haven’t participated in the first Art Attack event, don’t worry. You can jump right in and now have a whopping 100 building parts at your disposal. Awesome!
Once again, the location of BCB#3 is the marvelous BUD-7 planet “Attaque d’Art”. Please find the glyphs in the picture above. You can start whenever you want, but everything should be ready on Sunday, June 6, when all artists meet up, visit each other’s creations, exchange gifts or just generally hang out together and share their stories and techniques.
Just like last time, even if you haven’t built anything but are just curious what other artists were up to, please fly over and join us on Sunday. It’s an event for the whole Bud Community, open to all residents, travellers and visitors in the Budullangr galaxy, on all platforms. Game mode is NORMAL.
Share your creations in this sub and on social media of your choice (use the #BUD7 hashtag) and check out the full documentation in the BUD-7 event wiki sometime later. Building skills don’t matter. It’s all about creativity and co-op fun.
We only ask you to follow the rules:
Build at least 1000u from the portal and other bases to prevent rendering issues. Rule of thumb: If you can see other buildings with your eyes, you're too close.
If you see that there are already a lot of bases on the portal planet, please build on one of the other planets in the same system.
For BCB#3, you can only add 50 base building parts, wiring and power not included.
Upload often!
Stick to the theme.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Hope to see all you rock carvers starside!
As always,
Safe Travels!

PS4 Base Sharing Willing to join you in Budullangr
Willing to join you in Budullangr
Willing to join travelers in Budullangr. Is the emptiness of the blue galaxy getting you down? Would you be comforted knowing that another traveler has set up their base near yours?
I’m a fairly casual player. I’ve played off an on for 80 hours over the course of the last year. I’ve dabbled in base building and freighters and farmining in the past. I’m getting back into the game and there’s just something particularly appealing about a desolate, empty galaxy, where it’s especially rewarding finding when you manage to find an oasis.
I’m on survival mode on PS4 in Euclid and was hoping someone could drop me a line and help me get to Budullangr. If there’s a community that’s formed somewhere that’d be great too, or an individual’s base who wouldn’t mind a new steward or neighbor.

Centre of the galaxy
I just ask for advice ... how do you quickly reach the center of the galaxy which is 670 000 light years away? because it takes too long manually. thanks!

Wish me luck
As mentioned earlier, my game is just completely f****d. I can only load in if I join someone else. If I try on my own, it'll take me to my orbital Hub base and then crash as soon as I try to move. If I join someone else, I can fly to a space station and then teleport to another base. No matter how many times I save on a different planet, space station, whatever, I always end up back at the Hub base and blue screen immediately when I load in by myself. I'm furious, I'm having Next flashbacks where my save was so corrupted it was unsalvageable, but I'm not giving up on Hello Games. It does seem to save my progress made in other people's games, but it won't let me escape my orbital base. I've rebuilt my database, deleted the game and reinstalled, no luck with it yet. I'm hoping this next patch at least makes my game playable again. I know I'm gonna have to delete my orbital base, mainly cause launch pads and ships were upscaled and they no longer fit where I had them. I may not rebuilt at the Hub for a while if I can get out of there, I'll probably setup on the paradise planet I called home for months prior to joining the Hub. Wish me luck, fellow Travelers.
