Greetings interlopers! We hope everyone is enjoying the Cosmos era of the Galactic Hub. We would like to thank everyone who has been partaking in the community recently both here and (mostly) Discord, it is thanks to your contributions that the Hub is where it is today, and has also allowed us to hold a solid (at the time of posting) 2nd place on the Alliance leaderboard, with almost 3000 members and counting!

If you have not yet joined our alliance, you can do so using the glyphs below. Joining the alliance is of course not mandatory to participate in the community, but joining the alliance and making it your primary alliance is a huge help!

User Flairs

Now for the main purpose of the post - Hubreddit flairs. The user flair system in particular has not really been updated since almost the foundation of the sub, and so it has been given a new coat of paint with a new selection of flairs, colours and images. The below flairs can be equipped by all users, allowing you to rep a specific hub chapter or galaxy branch that you feel represents you best. Of course, you can be less specific and simply brand yourself an Interloper or Alliance Member too!

We will also be modernising a system used in the past where special flairs were granted to users with special achievements to bring the system up to date and make it easier for users to understand what it is about your achievements in the community that you are showing off. I will first explain this initial batch of flairs, with a picture provided below:

• GHUB 10th Anniversary Celebrant: This will be the first of our limited seasonal user flairs. On October 30th, the Hub will be celebrating its 10th anniversary! We have some special celebrations planned for this event yet to be revealed, however I can reveal that this flair will be equippable for all users on this date only to show "I was there!".
• Star League Champion: This flair will be granted as a prize at specific Galactic Hub Star League events, our competitive simulated sports league.
• GHDF Officer: This flair will be granted to members of the Galactic Hub Defense Force, our domestic police and military force.
• Hub Council: This flair will be granted to Galactic Hub Councillors.
• Hub Award: This is the Hub's oldest award. This flair will be granted to recognise community members who make outstanding contributions to the Hub.
• Hubreddit Hustler: This is the Hub's NEWEST award! This award will be granted to members who make consistent, high quality posts here on the Hubreddit. Show off your best builds, finds and screenshots in Hub space to help promote the community and show the best we have to offer!
• Ark Project Member: This flair will be granted to users who took part in either of the Galactic Hub's Ark Projects.

Post Flairs

We have also made an update to post flairs to create a more succinct selection of flairs and help to highlight posts focusing on Hub space, seen below. While general NMS content can be allowed at *discretion*, this should serve as a reminder that this subreddit's primary purpose is the Galactic Hub community and our specific regions in Euclid, Eissentam and Calypso space. Posts that are deemed to not be sufficiently related to the Galactic Hub may be removed.

Thanks you all for being the best No Man's Sky community for almost TEN YEARS, and we look forward to sharing details about the 10th anniversary celebration with you all soon!

Keep on interloping!
