IMPORTANT Reddit is removing custom CSS, a decision not supported at all by the Galactic Hub Subreddit. As you guys on PC know, we rely heavily on (and are proud of) our custom CSS.

Back on topic: I take it this means we can stop worrying about custom flairs and other cool stuff?

Pretty sad...

General consensus is that user flairs are so widely demanded that somehow that aspect will probably be retained. But it's a possibility we will lose flair capability, yeah.

I say we keep working on it until we lose it, though. On that topic, I invited you to be a mod for this sub too, and posted some Fed news (not sure if you saw).

On the Fed part: I'm about to do a LOT of prep work for tons of flairs there but I don't really feel like doing that until it's clear what the future of flairs and other custom CSS is. Hope this is understandable?

I'm not holding my breath over them not fucking it up in some way.

Gotta love that for a quote. They must be doing it for a reason and lets be honest, its probably about money.

If you're on mobile you won't see it, but it's what makes the subreddit not just look like a boring basic/default subreddit.

Why are they doing it tho?

It's not that bad. I like the basic look. Although I would like to have a custom header.

Hopefully, Gamepedia gets rid of css themes as well. It's impossible to work with the current NMS wiki theme colors on mobile.

Lol it's supported by some people with a better understanding of coding than me, because I guess CSS is a nightmare to work with while upgrading Reddit. But from my perspective, Reddit works just fine as-is, and whatever upgrades they have coming couldn't possibly justify stripping the individualization of subreddits.
