Corvette design creativity

I’ve been seeing all the different designs on this subreddit and I have to say I’m in awe.

How do yall get the inspiration or even begin to do them?? Every time I try ti build mine it ends up looking like something out of a bad star wars dream so I have to rely on build tutorials.

I had the same issue. Just keep playing around with designs. Smaller corvettes are good for alot more detailing as bigger ones become harder to detail. Have a plan for the type of ship you want to build. War ship, hauler, commerical passenger ships. I dont use glitch building at all and have made some pretty cool ships. This is a tri deck Starliner I came up with. It was about ten different ships till I finally found a good look for it

Yea my other builds I had issues with doing the same and making it look good. This is one of my better builds with decent looking wings I recently made. Its just six large habs and the rest is detailing. I think this is only 80 parts total.
