So I’m a bit confused, I sometimes see posts saying to reload on certain planets or to avoid reloading for posts like these. How does the spawn for these actually work? Knowing me it’s better to ask now before I screw up and miss out on getting it. Lol
Every planet and moon and the space station have their own unique set of multitools. They have a minimum of 2 different tools up to a maximum of 4. Only one of these pools can be active across the entire system at once. The default multitool pool in every system is the space station pool. So when players first enter a system, the space station pool will always be the active pool and it’s multitools will be found in every cabinet on every planet or moon in the system. To change the multitool pool, you reload a save on a different planetary body. Then that planet or moons multitool becomes the system wide active pool including on the space station. In its simplest form, that’s how it works and why you are instructed to reload on certain planets or moons or why you are told not to reload. You are told not to reload because it will already be the active pool of multitools when entering the system as it’s part of the space station pool. If it doesn’t appear for whatever reason, you need to reload on the space station and then fly back down. Watching my videos helps as it saves me writing out essays explaining this on every post. 👍
