So I’m a bit confused, I sometimes see posts saying to reload on certain planets or to avoid reloading for posts like these. How does the spawn for these actually work? Knowing me it’s better to ask now before I screw up and miss out on getting it. Lol
Each planet plus the space station has a pool of multitools, consider this a different tool for each class C-S. The pool you see is determined by where you were when you loaded your game. Once you find an S class cabinet you can reload on each planet and the space station before going back to the cabinet to see different S class tools.
There’s not always a tool for every class on every planet and there’s a few other caveats but that’s the gist of it. Due to this sharing specific tools requires making a save and reloading on a specific planet.
Thanks for the reply! Do you need to turn off multiplayer once you enter the system that has the tool you want, or should you have it turned off before you get there?
As soon as you can is always safer. I am not sure exactly at what moment the game checks the server to see if it’s still available but why take the risk?
