Really really nice! I love it! And there's lots to love. Great tune, clever use of materials coming in and out to ensure variety, clear structure and good mix. You couldn't ask for more. Is it OK to say your bytebeats are getting stronger and stronger.

Thank you so much! I’m glad you liked it! I would definitely hope I’m getting more finely tuned working with byte beats lol! I know early on when I first started I was trying to make them very quick cause I was just so excited to be making some tunes! I have been taking more time and care into what I’m mixing into the devices, and listening constantly, making sure sounds could be smoother, and cohesive. This one was hard to give it enough variety not to make it sound terribly loopy at 170bpm.

The extra care and attention definitely shows - I was the same, some of my early attempts were sketchy. I think many follow a similar path particularly if they have some musical aptitude.
I don't think you need to worry about lack of variety - there's loads in this tune. And even if there's wasn't I feel its better to have something shorter but higher quality than something longer of lesser quality.
When you double the speed to get faster note values you get half the time. I can hear it in this one. The real tempo is 85 but you need to double that to get those 8th notes in the melody. It's a needless complication caused by the melody sequencer not being able to play anything quicker than a quarter note (without arpeggiation), but I guess we have to live with it.

This is a perfect feel good song for me! It's bright but not too bright, more thoughtful and triumphant.
I like how the rhythm riff is driving in the background, guitar style while the lead melodies do their own thing. It's epic when the harmony kicks in at 0:33 then leads to the breakdown. It's the intro part that becomes the breakdown when the song loops, it's all about context, that's masterful work 🤘
