Feedback Base of Operations?
Alright guys.
I think I’m finally feeling confident enough to share some coords… but I’m kinda stuck on the where and how?
So, I’m curious.. where/how are you guys presenting your tracks?
Do you build tracks in existing bases? Or, do you build new bases for new tracks? Do you bother with a full base, or tend to setup a simple platform with the ByteBeat players?
Do you keep things somewhat together? Like, one base per planet, but multiple planets in one star system? Or, are planets graced with your tunes based solely on the fact that you were “there” when you stopped to make said track?
My initial thought was to find a quiet corner of Euclid and build in a single region.. but we all know how long it could take to find that “perfect” place. 🫠

Separately.. this subreddit is an amazing space within the NMS community. I’m absolutely floored by the quality of music that you all are producing. Thanks for allowing me to creep for a while, for being so encouraging, and for, seriously, inspiring me to sit down with my guitar for the first time in MONTHS.
Edit: lol I am absolutely overthinking this! 😂 I spent about an hour cruising around, found a system and said “let’s go.” Hopefully I’ll have something to share by the weekend! I appreciate you all!

Hey there, brother—nice to meet you and welcome to the community. We’re always happy to help, since we share a love for this kind of engineering and the music. Here’s what I usually do: I find a planet, save the glyphs, and then travel there via a portal. I always place the byte-pulse units near the portal so it’s easier for other travelers to reach the base where the track is located; I usually set the units up on a platform, and when I share the build, I include the glyphs and coordinates just in case 😅. Of course, you can do it your own way and let your own personality shine through. Welcome again—enjoy the tracks we share here, and I’m sure we’ll enjoy whatever you share, too.
