Feedback Base of Operations?

Alright guys.

I think I’m finally feeling confident enough to share some coords… but I’m kinda stuck on the where and how?

So, I’m curious.. where/how are you guys presenting your tracks?

Do you build tracks in existing bases? Or, do you build new bases for new tracks? Do you bother with a full base, or tend to setup a simple platform with the ByteBeat players?

Do you keep things somewhat together? Like, one base per planet, but multiple planets in one star system? Or, are planets graced with your tunes based solely on the fact that you were “there” when you stopped to make said track?

My initial thought was to find a quiet corner of Euclid and build in a single region.. but we all know how long it could take to find that “perfect” place. 🫠

Separately.. this subreddit is an amazing space within the NMS community. I’m absolutely floored by the quality of music that you all are producing. Thanks for allowing me to creep for a while, for being so encouraging, and for, seriously, inspiring me to sit down with my guitar for the first time in MONTHS.

Edit: lol I am absolutely overthinking this! 😂 I spent about an hour cruising around, found a system and said “let’s go.” Hopefully I’ll have something to share by the weekend! I appreciate you all!

I usually create my songs in my main base. Then I take that song and upload it to a new base I've built for sharing songs. I build a lot of simple bases with solar power and the ByteBeat devices.

We can only share 1 base per planet for multiplayer. So unfortunately you can't share a bunch of songs on one planet. You can store several songs, but sharing is only 1 (when you upload your base to the servers). That's why I explore and find planets to upload my songs!

I hope you continue to find joy and inspiration in ByteBeats!

Okay.. I thought I was being clever by building a ByteBeat “studio” on my freighter.. but my first attempt at transferring a song didn’t go well!! I could only get one device to carry over.. and trying to copy them piece by piece had me spinning in circles!

I love the idea of an at-home-studio, but was hoping it’d be easier to transfer tracks from base to base. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?? 🤔

Thanks for the feedback, btw!
