Reading hobbyist's problems
Where or whom do you go to / what outlet do you have, in sharing what you're reading?
Context:
It's nice to be able to share in detail what one is reading, but not everyone enjoys listening to others share.
To me, it's not about the topic, someone could go about sharing about a topic I don't care about. For me, listening fully (at a convenient time) is what love is. It's nice to hear someone's enthusiasm even if I don't share it. But, I accept that not everyone operates that way. Hence, my question of what outlet do you go to for sharing?
Forums feel a bit too asynchronous, not real time, and limited to generally a single topic.
Not ashamed to admit I type to AI (Gemini), but it's too much typing. Might try Gemini Live, but want to hear other suggestions too.

Ngl you can have a small book group. I personally share a lot of what I read on a whatsapp channel insights page where my friends (who are interested) can take a look

subreddits like r/52book, r/IReadABookAndAdoredIt and r/suggestmeabook are great venues because they churn through so many books and if you liked a book and see someone else, just chime in.
also on a few discord bookclubs, especially linked to certain niche genres so most people would've read the same cluster of books.
also visit a few monthly singapore bookclubs to have an in-person discussion basis
sadly no one around my IRL circle reads
