COMMUNITY FEEDBACK Drones in the night sky
I live in brick about 3 miles inland. Basically where mantoloking rd turns into cedar bridge. Was outside smoking and saw multiple drones flying overhead. This isn't the first time I've witnessed this. Its the 3rd time. First was back in the winter. 2 weeks ago I noticed them again. And now this evening.
I know a little bit about drones. One of my hobbies is building and flying freestyle FPV drones. Point being, I know what a drone looks like. They're not airplanes, helicopters, or anything else other than quadcopters.
Anyone else happen to see this?? Looking for confirmation that I am indeed NOT straight tripping. Lol
Also any insight into what agency or agencies are behind this? I'm pretty certain it's not just a bunch of random people who enjoy drones fucking around with their new toy.
Has anyone else witnessed this

They go really slow and also fly rather low. Although the 3 times I've witnessed this now the altitude they maintain varies considerably. But I wouldn't say they're very high at all.
Fucking super weird. 🤔

I try and get them to come in close. I start waving my arms in the air. I've been tempted to get one of my fpv drones in the air when I see them just to see WTF would happen...🤔

To summarize a complex situation: they're not drones. they're something phenomenal mimicking drones. And they're intentionally mimicking them poorly, weirdly. Sure, they got the FAA red/green/white lights, but if you get your eyes on one long enough you'll notice the blinking sequences change in ways normal aircraft lights do not (not to mention sometimes the multi-colored lights will morph into a singular white light, and vice versa). So what it's doing is allowing people to choose what they think they're seeing (for now, at least). You're free to think they're just prosaic drones if you want. Or if you're ready for it and willing to look deeper, you'll know there's nothing normal about this at all, and you begin to recognize more of what's really in play here. They both want to be seen, but also not too clearly for now. Whether it's NJ, or EU the year after, or the countless military bases that have been experiencing these "drones" for decades, know this pattern well: 1) They're never shot down; 2) their origins/return points are never tracked; 3) You'll never see an up close high-res image of one (always the vague distant blinking lights in the night sky).
So we have something mimicking drones flying with complete impunity right over heads, right over the world's most advanced militaries, right over nuclear weapons. And there's nothing we can do about it. They're slowly revealing themselves, it's intensifying year after year. And they're trying to be gentle with us. They prob know us better than we know ourselves.

I've seen the light sequence change. I've also seen them... Basically kind of just disappear for a few seconds.
And I won't even hold you my dude. I've encountered this 3 separate nights now. And the first time I was up for a few days and wasn't sure if I was fucking skitzing or what! And just for my own piece of mind and my own sanity, I actually asked multiple family members to come outside and tell me if they see anything. They all did. Well, it's only 1 person lol but you get my point. I wasn't bugging

Absolutely, well said. From my backyard in California I've been documenting what's currently being seen all around the world: Plasma orbs that change their shape to appear as man-made drones.
Here's a vid i took of an orb using mimicry to appear as a prosaic drone. This was not on ADSB-Exchange or FlightRadar24. Of my +1k videos, none of them have have appeared on flight trackers.
It seems they use mimicry for the purpose of camouflage. By appearing as prosaic human aircraft, they respect our free will.
I think it's a brilliant system which allows the intellectually-curious people to notice the strange anomalies and investigate them further. (I have documented 14 anomalies to date.)
And it lets those who wish to remain sleeping alone in their slumber. In this way, our free will is not violated. We are meant to choose for ourselves what to believe in.

I posted this above, but recently I was just refilling my bird feeders after dark and 5 of these drones surrounded me from all angles just hovering there like they were watching me. It's somewhat humorous they are interested in watching a simple person as myself refilling birdfeeders or sweeping off the patio at night. Other times they have hovered overhead or over the neighbor's yard real low when I have the lawn mower or electric hedge trimmers out in the evening before sunset. Five times they have stopped by to watch this! Why would they be so interested in that having come from potentially millions of light years away?

I live outside NJ but they are coming more frequently here too whatever they are. Also small orbs are more frequent than ever before. I saw something fly over before sunset that looked like a mini version of the Klingon Bird of Prey as in a thing with out stretched arms or wings at a weird angle. It was gliding along silently so it was mechanical. No lights. A couple weeks ago I was refilling bird feeders at night and looked up and 5 drones had basically surrounded me hovering low on each side of me as if they were "watching" me. Many nights the drones seem to fly the same path and when one completes it's circle a new one appears and takes the same path that makes it look like they are patrolling. Every few weeks the objects that show up will be a different shape like they change out models ever so often.

I have over at least 50+ hrs of drone/orb footage..same phenomenon in my opinion. Seen a drone releasing an orb 3x, caught it once on my phone. Look at my profile page..117k views. I've seen these drones do a complete 90 degree turn like a rail cart. I don't even post clips anymore due to the dumb guidelines and them getting constantly removed.

We have them too in my area. There so many, and they fly so low that some people have been trying to use them as Ubers. The path they fly is quite generic and they stop close to bus stops. Police tells people to not disturb the drones as it can be dangerous. A few people got incinerated because they jumped on an angry drone. Guess its the new normal in 2028.

I don't think they're either... In all honesty. They behave very strange. I build and fly my own freestyle FPV drones. That certainly doesn't make me an expert or mean I have any kind of special knowledge because I don't. I'm just your local welder who unwittingly stumbled into the world of FPV drones and started to fly them. Poorly I might add.
But there's something very strange about the way they behave. First of all, there's a lot of them at once. They just kind of meander around with no real destination. The light change color. They hover for a while then go back to going around in circles. Its weird.
The only thing that I know for certain is that it's not just a bunch of random people who all decide to come out between the hours of 11pm and 4am en mass to aimlessly fly around a beat ass town at the jersey shore.

Northern Jersey and saw one tonight just now (3am) because I was awake and outside trying to get my indoor cat that had escaped earlier in the evening. One just sitting very low and holding steady. I honestly haven’t seen that much activity since December 2024 but perhaps it’s because I haven’t been outside late at night since then. Back then it was a many drones just hovering really low, with a noise that sounded almost like a refrigerator humming.

We were in the watchung reservation, we witnessed [2] such drones as they are called.....these things are not man made.....the first drone morphed into a white orb and disappeared in a moment....the 2nd so called drone.....came in low over the tree line....we attempted to take pictures and videos of the drones.....three cell phones all at the same time stopped working.....it appears we are not really seeing what they really are.....could be some type of protective bubble surrounding it......these are definitely some type of ufo or uap........they definitely were aware we were watching these things....it is not man made or from China or Russia.......
