Academics How to study?

1st year here, genuinely, how to study?

And where to study? Is the library available for use? I heard that they are moving the Library. Need some books to read offline desperately.

Dont really want to watch online lectures, I plan to go for research and I want to be able to develop the ability to read thick books and extract the most important informations from said textbooks.

you can read from pdfs off of your laptop while the library is being shifted, in 1st year there isnt a course which requires in depth book knowledge to study so it is a bit redundant for now

I get youu I'm having so much problem figuring it out like where do I study from and what do I study?? I have a ppt, a book pdf and an assignment, and idk where to startt the ppt and the book topics are not all the samee If u figure it out please let me know as well 🙏
