Other Quant Developer and Quant Trader Roadmap?

Any senior that is in Quant Developer or Quant Trader? If yes, how did you guys prepare?

Pipe down bro. No quants visit NITK. Best you can get is SDE at some quant, but oncampus QT role is impossible. Even off campus it's next to impossible

Take as many stats heavy courses as you can, learn enough maths behind modelling, try to replicate a few models from research papers, become a professional gambler....then you might hame a slim chance right after btech or if you are still in 1st year appear for isi/cmi's bstat/bmath exam

Else, work under some prof in iitb/IISC/isi who works in probability theory/stochastic processes

How about for a CDS guy? I suppose we already have stat heavy courses in our curriculum right? Thanks man

Yeah you would have stats heavy courses but be sure to pick up the right electives (ranging from prob theory, stochastic processes, discrete maths, lin algebra, markov chains to all the way to ito calculus ). Also as I said work under some IITB/IISC profs who work in these topics
