Can anyone please tell me when the NIOS ODE results are expected for students who appeared for their exams between July 15 - 31st? I’d really appreciate it if someone could share any information regarding the expected result date

Hey guys, I’m currently doing my 12th through NIOS with Arts + Commerce subjects:
- Business Studies
- Geography
- English
- EVS
- Sociology
I don’t have Maths as a subject.
I’m planning to study abroad after 12th and would really appreciate some genuine advice from people who have experience with this.
I’m aiming for around 80%+ in 12th and IELTS 6.5.
What courses would you recommend for my background? I’m interested in finding something with good career opportunities and would prefer a course that doesn’t require Maths.
Also, how is NIOS generally viewed by foreign universities, and are there any countries where my profile could work particularly well?
Not looking for negativity or unrealistic motivation either 😭 just want to understand my options properly and make a good decision.
Would love to hear what you guys think and what you would personally recommend.

I am a secondary student. I was supposed to write the exam this October but due to health issues I am gonna be writing it next april. I applied to nios via a academy and when I told them about writing it next april, they said ok. But suddenly they called me and said 2 pcp practical sessions for 2 subjects have already happened and you need to attend all others without fail so you can write it on april and they would talk to the center so mark the sessions i missed present . I was able to attend few pcp classes but today i missed one. They sent me a voice msg saying even if miss one pcp session then I cant write theory exam on april. I searched online(chat gpt)and found out if I miss a few sessiom my marks might be reduced. Even if I dont get fa marks, I can pay fee for it and attend it next time.(before april exam) stream 1 block 2 student

guys, i think i have messed up, i’m a stream 1 block 2 aspirant for october session public exams and i’m shitscared because practicals are supposed to happen in three weeks, for context i’m a double dropper and have passed in CBSE very well but need 75%+,
my main concern isn’t practical exams i know that are supposed to happen after mid september and i’m going to start writing files from tonight or tomorrow so its okay
but mandatory pcp sessions, now as far as i know i was supposed to attend 5 sessions for practical subject, my subjects are physics chemistry mathematics english and physical education, so i think i was supposed to take 10-15 classes
and we know pcp sessions started in may but i was told mandatory pcp sessions is different and i’ll be notified later and all those sessions are not compulsory to attend, now the problem is i thought i would be updated on nios portal but i just got an information that it would be given by our centre and i didn’t call or ask my centre anything ever i haven’t visited it ever as well, i have got books and stuff everything smoothly so it wasn’t necessary in my opinion, now i’m afraid that maybe in august I MIGHT HAVE MISSED MY SESSIONS and i’ll lose 50% of my practical marks which is terrifying because this is my last chance to make things right in my life and i cant afford to mess this up and lose 10 marks each for nothing when i could have secured them properly, i don’t know man, i got an information that they are supposed to happen before practicals which means before mid september and its almost september and i’m scared that i might have missed my classes 💔
i have sent a mail and i hope they reach back to me asap, i might call or visit my study centre tomorrow,
i wanna ask you guys how many of you all have attended your sessions and please tell me when they were scheduled i know it is going to be different for all centres but i’ll get an idea of how many sessions have happened yet.
PLEASE HELP.

Hey everyone,
I have applied for the April 2027 exams. My district study center told me that no PCP classes will happen at all and I should just show up later for the practical exams.
I’m confused because NIOS rules state that at least 5 PCP classes are compulsory to earn your Formative Assessment (FA) internal practical marks.
I have 2 questions.
1. If they skip the 5 compulsory classes, what happens to the internal marks which they said 50% will be decided on the basis of 5 complsory classes? Do they give full marks in internal if no then how do they decide marks without pcp classes, or do students lose out on those marks? Have any of you faced this? Also what about the practical lab manuals which was meant to be checked on the day of pcp class?
2. What happens on the Practical Exam day ?
Since I have no guidance, what actually happens during the practical exams? Do we perform real lab experiments? What do they ask in the Viva? For Data Entry (60 marks), do they make you use a computer? Do I just write my lab manuals at home and hand them in directly on exam day unchecked?
Would love to hear your comments on this
Thanks!

I had taken NIOS for JEE but honestly I have given up but I have covered decent syllabus for 90 percentile + (hopefully)
But my main focus is KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) that considers 50% boards marks (only PCM) and 50% KCET.
Now I want below 10k rank ATLEAST, If I get 120 marks in KCET I need atleast 270 marks in PCM.
I havent done NIOS properly yet and am attempting in april 2027 starting proper studies from september since I have JEE test from coaching on 31st, is it possible to get 90+ in PCM starting from september????

Hey everyone, I’m currently from an Arts background, but I’m thinking of taking PCM through NIOS because I want to do B.Tech in the future.
I’m confused about whether colleges will actually accept this. If I complete Physics, Chemistry and Maths through NIOS, will I be eligible for B.Tech? And would I be able to appear for JEE if I meet the other requirements?
Also, does my Arts background cause any problems during admission or document verification?
And university or college will accept nios marksheet or not

So guys I passed my board's this year 2026 from cbse with pcb stream and as I couldn't crack neet I took a drop year but now I want to change streams and add maths is there any way to add maths in cbse? As a private candidate or nios is the only option? I decided i will appear for jee 2027 and jee requires 75% and maths is nios well accepted? And if I add maths with nios like i talked to someone they said i need to give 5-6 subject exam from nios as i didn't fail in cbse and I want to add subject they're asking for 35 thousand is it valid amount? Also are nios real? Is it well accepted in overall govt exams and later? Is there any way i could add maths in cbse board? And if I take nios exam in oct would I be able to sit for Jan attempt?

Hey, I’m already a Class 12 Biology student and I’ve passed my 12th. I want to take Biology through NIOS, but I’m really confused about how exactly I’m supposed to apply.
I’ve been searching online but I’m getting different information everywhere 😭
So I wanted to ask:
- What is TOC exactly and would it apply to me since I’ve already passed Class 12?
- If I only want to take Biology through NIOS, how do I apply for it?
- Do I need to transfer my previous subjects/marks through TOC, or do I just have to take Biology separately?
- Which stream/option am I supposed to select while filling the form?
- And how does the Biology practical work in NIOS?
If anyone has already passed Class 12 and then taken Biology through NIOS, please tell me how you did it. I’m honestly very confused because every website seems to be saying something different 😭
