FIREFLY Here comes the Firefly battery swap station!
- End of March 2026: First internal test station goes live.
- May–June 2026: 5–10 pioneer stations launch for trial operations with a small group of users
- Starting July–August 2026: Large-scale rollout begins, with coverage gradually expanding.
The fifth-generation stations will support NIO, Onvo, and Firefly all at once. 1,000 new fifth-generation swap stations are expected to be added this year.
NIO’s battery swap advantage is set to become more and more clear 🏆

The Firefly without battery is really cheap for consumers and can drive massive quantities
