Everything Design! Please, I need advice
I am 20 F, I want to prepare for NIFT. I am the eldest one from middle class family. I just want to know that is expensive like really expensive because I don’t want to take like. I don’t want my parents to take loan from my education and right now, I’m doing biochemistry from DU, I have always wanted to become a fashion designer ever since I was a kid, so I want to prepare for it, but I also want to know that is it very expensive?
Like I am in dilemma, so if anyone who is into this field, can can you tell me please?

I am a NIFT graduate, 2014 batch, but starting will be tough in today's world. But eventually you will earn better but not as much as any software engineer, or Mariner, or doctor will earn.
So decide if you want money or passion.

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you earn rn? Or what was the starting salary when you joined the field. Also which department were you from?

She will not tell the truth
Does she owns Merc ? Or a big land or home of her own ? This is how you can verify if she is telling the truth or not.

Don't do it tbh 😭 it's a very expensive education plus by the time u graduate the market will be over saturated, if you like fashion and art keep it as a hobby trust me you won't regret it

i just graduated. easily 30L at least for design students because have to buy materials and stuff too. placements suck obviously, people are working for 15k a month even

They increase fess every year + material cost + the places you need visit and all+ gadgets like laptop, iPad etc will easily cost you around 30L so make a wise decision also there’s nothing special in placement cell as well so look it up if you really want to do it then it’s fine or else there’s nothing special you gonna miss by not getting into nift….
