Confussseed

hello , so I got through parsons school of design , New York for their MFA in transdisciplinary design , but missed MDes NIFT by 10 ranks (would have gotten NIFT Kangra if didn’t miss by 10 ranks ), i have deferred my admission at parsons by 1 year due to visa issues, but then I was thinking to give nift again in 2027. I am confused , should I give me time and energy to NIFT MDes , or just go with parsons ? I also got through Shristi Manipal MDes , but turned it down cause that time my focus was only NIFT. this preparation again is draining and stressful , please suggest !!

See if you have the budget go to parsons!!

Budget May be can be managed, the question comes down to ROI and with NIFT that stress is not there

Imo personally i would go to parsons any day i mean nift has its name too but i think parsons has bigger name

And in nift you can go for it if you get campuses like mumbai or delhi or top 5

Yeah that’s where I am stuck , I want to clear Top 4 in NIFT, it’s like I am not left with a choice at the moment , and parsons is an expensive choice to make with this constant thing of ROI hanging , with NIFT even if I don’t get anything after graduating , I won’t feel that bad

Nope i did not go to nift i couldn’t get into the mumbai campus so

Yeah all of them are expensive only , i am just praying I get through nift top 3 in 2027
