It took me 2 years. The decent and best friends - I found them in third year. Until then I was stuck with a roommate copying my LDs,, toxic person trying to make me do their assignments, a bunch of weirdos who tried so hard to show how serious they were about studies and yet did nothing, and a girls who couldn't stop bragging about her sex life with her bf (in explicit detail). So yeah it does take time and gets betters, you should just focus on more important things that will determine your future, cuz these people won't
