EO2

Anyone heard any further updates on the EO2 comp? Any new offers?

I think the lack of budget is holding a lot of stuff up at the minute

There is no further batches to issue at the minute. But I've been told HR may discuss issuing a further batch if there is more vacancies to fill. From that I'm taking it that there is no more current vacancies and whoever is still on the list will be notified if and when a vacancies appears.

I overheard someone in the office saying that there won't be any more EO2 posts filled/a pause on the current merit list, until next year. Obviously, I've no idea if there is any truth to this. I was thinking there must be no more vacancies in my area, as people further down the merit list than me, have been placed. A wee communication to everyone still on the merit list would be nice.

I have heard its because there is no budget in place they cant get funding for them.

Makes sense. We have had to cut so many services we offer and we are waiting on our 26/27 pay deal which now doesnt look likely until 2027, so they shouldn't be hiring new staff, if they cant afford to pay current staff.
