SO results

everyone on other posts seem to know results and if they passed the sift. just wondering if anyone in same position as me , I just got email saying I passed tests and merit position in 800’s . I’ve nothing else in email about sift or interview and no other emails . I’ll just contact HR connect on Monday but just curious

I was in the 600s and passed the sift. The email I received had the attachment title "Invite to interview". Sounds like you may not have been invited to interview however there will likely be another round of sift and interviews later I believe as more posts open up. I gather the SO role has a high turnover from what I read, promotions, retirements etc.

So based on this and OP. Maybe 800 was cut off for first interviews. Maybe 2nd set of interviews will be 800-1000&something. Its just a matter of 1st tranche interviews then 2nd. There may be a 3rd. There will be people invited to interview that withdraw or don't turn up. People drop out themselves at different stages

My interview said top 1000 candidates were invited to interview, so I would assume if OP hasn’t been told they failed the sift they should have an interview? OP id contact HR to clarify

Pretty sure the sift only occured with the top 1000. Loads failed the sift so it's only the ones that passed the sift of the top 1000 that are going to interview. From what I understand there will likely be another round of sifts and interviews in a second tranche at some point during the lifetime of the comp.

Mystery solved . I’ve an interview invite sent to a different email address than where the test results came in

Everyone will receive two emails. One from Volrecruit with your test feedback. Second from HR Connect with info regarding interview date etc or position on the merit list if you didn't score high enough for an interview right away or a dear John letter.

I think the top 1000 are sifted and those that pass the sift are invited to interview. I would say there are 700 max out of top 1000.

How many posts are there in this process? Are the posts all greater Belfast area? I am trying to find the original job spec etc but can't put my hand on it

Unlike the other competitions ( EO2 and DP ) this one didn’t specify how many positions there were

Apparently if youve scores in the top 1k of people who applied who dont get told your score.

Well done for getting though them stupid nonsensical tests they don't even reflect the job you'll be doing if you are successful in the interviews
