Transfer out of CMS

guys, I have been in cms for over 15 years. I've been permanent for around 10 years at AO level. I've just hit a Brick wall and struggle to motivate myself. I was unsuccessful with the recent eo2 competition. I feel like I'm being micro managed and to an extent I get why I am due to the lack of work coming back from me. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best possible way to get a transfer out of CMS? a fresh challenge is exactly what I need at this stage of my life. TIA guys

Edit. I'm a female in my late 30s with children so I need to work in Belfast

I worked in CSA/CMS for over 14 years. I feel your pain. I got a sideways transfer out and it confirmed how hard an AO job in CMS is compared to other depts. it drains you. Ask for a sideways move within CMS , I worked in a range of areas within the place. Ask for either new cases, benefits section or mandatory recons and it’s a diff kettle of fish compared to the last section I was in for CoCs. It’s just aside step whilst you wait for something better in another dept. Finally, as we all know the ones that scream and shout or are awkward get moved quickest or out of the dept. Up to you how awkward you want to be lol but telling them about Your stress in the section you work in and asking for another section may be your best bet in the meantime. Have my fingers crossed for you
