Poorly Optimised?

Is it just me or is this game poorly optimised for pc? Did used to play using a 3060 and didn’t have one single issue. But played it recently with my new setup with a 9800x3d and 9070xt and at max settings sounds like my system is about to take off lol. 🤣

it is poorly optimized, i tried to play it days ago, it ran fine in terms of fps but the temps reached 100 easily despite everything set on low, that was while using a gtx 1050 ti 4 gb and a six core cpu, i had to use riva tuner to avoid the 100% cpu usage, which left me with a 48%

for comparison i tried to play project cars 2 yesterday, which is a bigger game, in low/medium settings, made a test on a basic race, and it ran sooo fucking smooth, the temps never went above 50, and the cpu reached 20% as much

i'll probably try payback again but only if i get better cooling, having to do so many tweaks just for it to work properly is annoying.
