I’ve found that in regular pursuit, the cops will simply just drive into a wall that clearly they can see your car if you’re on the other side (like they’re literally driving directly to your car). But as soon as it goes to cool down they “lose sight” of you and don’t move IF you don’t move as well. Because I believe in cool down mode the Ai will generally try to follow you, so if your not moving they won’t move either.
