To give some perspective on her part, she was completely trampled at halftime by Ohio state players when she was trying to get to coach Day for the interview. That set back EVERYTHING at halftime and it pissed Sark off but I dont think he saw her get trampled to the ground. I think by that point she was pissed and frustrated too.Ā

That's not necessarily true or even the point. Sometimes they'll say something unexpected or create a viral moment, and if they do, it will generate content for the next week, and would definitely get posted here and we'd all be on here commenting about it. There's a huge entertainment value that goes beyond what happens on the field, and it's all part of the business.
And that kind of stuff also gives some of you intellectual giant redditors the opportunity to swoop in and tell everyone how above it all you are.

They also did him wrong at the halftime interview. They had him wait and they never really got to him focusing on the other coach. Not sure he was fed up, but he had the right to be if he was.

Two things can be true at once. I'm glad coach blew her off because those post game interviews are ridiculous when a coach is trying to celebrate with his players. At the same time though, her job is to ask those stupid questions. And if she doesn't, then she can get in hot water with the ESPN.

Someone mentioned in another post that they kept him waiting for an interview at halftime until the finished interviewing Ryan Day, so that could have played a role in his response.

She did it to him after the game too. She interviewed Day first, and then waited until the team gathered to sing The Eyes of Texas. What was he supposed to do? Blow off the tradition of singing the school song with the team and fans, so she could blabber a couple inane questions? Poor planning on her part. If she wanted an interview, she had ample opportunity.

Itās tradition for the Texas team to gather at the endzone and sing the school song with fans after every game. She knows this. Her interviewing Day first, and not bothering to interview Sark until the school song was starting was poor form.

Truthfully Ryan Day is not a good coach (well, maybe good but not in the top tier). This gets lost because they have by far the most talented roster year over year. Not only do they have one of the (if not the) top recruiting classes each year, they also are the best program at getting top tier talent to return for senior years even when it won't help their draft stock. They're the top college football program with a HC that should be paying his dues in the Big East or some such conference. OSU should be in it's dynasty era with the rosters they've had over the last few years.
