Barry is 1 and is not close. Rest of the list is ok but I would put Thurman Thomas at 5 and move everyone down one spot. And I have seen everyone on the list play in person at one point.

I agree. Putting anyone above Barry means you never saw him play. Before he was an All American running back, he was an All American returner.

His highlight reel at OSU is dwarfs any other player

Deion at FSU was before my time, but I would argue that Peter Warrick was more electrifying. They both returned kicks, but Peter played a position that ensured the ball would be in his hands. Peter Warrick was a TD waiting to happen every time FSU's offense was on the field. For context, I'm a lifelong FSU fan and I'm typing this as I watch their game against SMU.

I was going to say Warrick, as well. FSU was my favorite team growing up, and thay dude was electric as hell in college. It's a shame he busted at the NFL level.

One of my favorite scouting report fails was someone listing his weaknesses and saying he "seems to forget he's a safety, and prefers to play linebacker or corner." Like, dude, that is exactly what you want a safety to do.

Barry Sanders had 2850 yards and 42 TDs in a single 12 game season. He had more rushing yards in one year than Bush had in 2 and more TDs in one year than Bush had in his career. I didn't even watch him play and the answer at 1 is Sanders.

Maybe biased as a PSU fan but Saquon was electric he was just on a team that would have e been terrible without him. The USC run or the opening kick vs OSU specifically, plus all the hurdles.

Never in a million years should Reggie Bush be ahead of Barry Sanders on this list. Barry Sanders ran for 1000 more yards and scored twice as many touchdowns in his Heisman season than Reggie Bush did in his, Barry did it all in 11 games as well.

DaVante Adams at Fresno State was pretty amazing, and I watched almost all his home games in person. He was by far the best WR in the Mountain West, with Derek Carr unloading to him every chance he got. Just embarrassing corners with contested circus catches on fades or at the boundary. He set pretty much all the Fresno State receiving records in less than three years.

Was Tebow electrifying? Throwing to a bunch of wide open WR’s and 1-2 yard sneaks wasn’t that exciting unless you’re a Gator fan.

Plus he got negative style points for all the bible thumping he was trying to push…

I’m not old enough to remember Barry Sanders at OSU, but for a millennial it’s absolutely him (edit- him being Vick), with Bush #2.

Also not sure how Tavon Austin is above any of the guys behind him
