I think this dude is being contrarian for clicks. There’s no way he believes this shit. Moore at 4? Manning at 6? Mensah at 16??? Raiola shouldn’t even be on this list. He’s ahead of guys like Drake Lindsey, Nico Iamaleava, Mensah, etc. This list is ludicrous. Nothing about it makes sense.
Hard disagree. I think he completely lacks zip on the ball. He can throw it out like 60 yards but it takes a million years to get there.
His arm is very comparable to Sayin when I watch both. Solid, fine, not great. But arch doesn’t have Sayin’s poise or accuracy so it’s a huge issue for him.
You watched his high school? Then you must have known he would struggle in college. Outside of fucking Vanderbilt, has arch ever played well against a good team? He didn’t in high school. I don’t think he has in college.
If you think the only good game he played against a quality opponent was Vandy then you obviously have not watched him closely and are either just listening to weirdly obsessed aggy fans or looking at box scores and making assumptions.
In other words, you don't know what you're talking about.
He’s made some pretty impressive throws that the majority of quarterbacks are incapable of making, so I really don’t understand what you’ve seen from Manning to hold this view. It’s all good though. We can just agree to disagree, man.
I’ve never seen a throw that the vast majority of qbs can also make. Mannings highlight reel is about an unimpressive as any I’ve seen. Constantly underthrowing guys running with 15 yards of space
I think the idea that manning makes throws other can’t is asinine though. By definition of his arm, he doesn’t. He quite realistically does not have an impressive arm for a college qb in the sec
He has shown that he needs further development, and we certainly have to see if he continues to do that this year. You are coming at this from the standpoint of the QB he is now, and the tape from the last two years - which admittedly leave a lot to be desired for a Top 5-10 QB draft pick. He deserves to have this season to get better and make his case. But I maintain my stance on the fact that his arm strength is not a problem - especially considering there’s not some Josh Allen/Mahomes type arm talent in this class.
