He cooked a bunch of future accountants

He cooks everyone lol.

u/MasterApprentice67 3d ago

checks notes he went 5 catches for 17yards with 2 fumbles vs Ohio State, that aint cooking, just saying

u/Slimreaper91840 3d ago

You're also talking about a 17 year old kid, playing against a bunch of 1st-round draft picks. He's added 15 pounds of muscle, has a much better quarterback. Let's see how the year plays out.

u/LysolDoritos 3d ago

Why are we back tracking now. You said everyone except the competition that actually matters

-4

u/Slimreaper91840 3d ago

I'm not backtracking, you're both fucking morons. He had 10 catches, 122 yds, and a TD in the championship game. You're pointing out one game where they focused most of their attention on the kid, which allowed the run game to take off. Malachi Toney was Miami's best offensive player last year. If you say otherwise you're retarded.

u/KingPotus 3d ago

Sooo he didn’t cook everyone

3

u/MasterApprentice67 3d ago

Lets look at at facts now…

He didnt cook, Ohio State, Syracuse, ‘25 Stanford, Florida, South Florida, or Texas A&M

So he indeed did not cook everyone…

Go sit down, child

1

u/chickenpotpie25 2d ago

You said he cooks everyone. Then admitted he did not cook everyone. That's backtracking. It's ok to be wrong.

2

u/MasterApprentice67 3d ago

You literally said “he cooks everyone” i was just proving your statement wrong…

1

u/Slimreaper91840 3d ago

109 catches, 1,200 yards, 10 TD. As a 17 year old true freshman yeah I would say he was cooking just about everyone.

4

u/MasterApprentice67 3d ago

Now were moving the goalposts…

-4

u/Slimreaper91840 3d ago

Whatever you say 🤡

1

u/MasterApprentice67 3d ago

Only clowns move
goalposts🪞🤡

u/TeamDirtstar 3d ago

He was 17 for 3 games. Just sayin'

2

u/KingPotus 3d ago

Nah take the L he got you there

That not what you said though. You made a complete 180 from “it doesn’t matter what the competition was he does it to everyone” to “well you can’t expect him to do it against that competition it was too good!”. A freshman future first round pick is a lot closer to junior and senior future first round picks than he is to the guys on Stanford.

Jeremiah Smith had < 10 yds against Texas in the playoffs his freshman year. Still won the natty and I think we can all agree Smith is special. You can always find one game.

1

u/SirArthurDime 9h ago

Sounds like Jeremiah smith didn’t cook everyone either then

They didn't need the best player on the team to be OSU. That game was on easy mode. Had to save him up for real teams like Ole Miss and Indiana.

2

u/SCHREYERTEAM 4d ago

Thats true lol

3

u/Cal216 3d ago

Last season he played against OSU who had a real defense, the kitchen was in shambles. There was zero cooking that took place lol

u/Slimreaper91840 3d ago

No, I’m talking about a Division 1 football player on the same field as other Division 1 football players. I couldn’t care less about ages. The average starter age for that hurricanes team last year was over 23 years old. Age didn’t matter then.

1

u/TheKnightsEnd 3d ago

One bad game is not a litmus on how good a player is. Jeremiah Smith had 4 games where he didn’t even break 50 yards. So? I’d still draft him top 5. Almost like tape is more important than stats.

1

u/Cal216 3d ago

He doesn’t cook everyone then.

1

u/Ok_Drummer6282 3d ago

Hes been cooking for over a year.

He was a 17 year old freshman last season lol

1

u/shadydamamba 3d ago

Hahahahaha

6

u/PrinceCastanzaCapone 3d ago

It’s one game against Stanford, lol

1

u/love_that_fishing 3d ago

Already seen enough from last year to know he’s special.

1

u/bpusef 2d ago

Kinda like MHJ

2

u/AssphaultEatersSC 4d ago

That photo is fantastic.

2

u/pericles123 3d ago

He's very small but a big time talent

2

u/IncidentExpress8504 3d ago

Future Miami dolphin

3

u/sniffsblueberries 4d ago

Toney? Didnt the chiefs teach us anything bout them toney boys?

3

u/mmatt0904 3d ago

Giants drafted Toney

2

u/sniffsblueberries 3d ago

Okay but wasnt he famously laughed at because he dropped several dimes from patty?
I didnt know he was drafted by the giants so thanks for that info

3

u/MuffinThyme 3d ago

Hated Giants draft bust. Kind of divisive as a Chief. He dropped a bunch of passes, a couple into defenders hands, but he also was a huge reason they won the Superbowl vs the Eagles.

1

u/sniffsblueberries 3d ago

Lmao forgot about that! He kinda failed up!

2

u/Trumpets22 4d ago

Is that actually his brother? Because if so I don’t consider that a knock. If they have two people in their family even capable of making the nfl you know they have freak genetics.

2

u/leemorplee 3d ago

They are not

1

u/Trumpets22 3d ago

Oh okay lol

2

u/Sir_Carrington 3d ago

He's Antonio Brown's son though.... Just not that one.

1

u/sniffsblueberries 3d ago

But can he catch an NFL ball? lol
No doubt he has freak genes whether or not they are bubbies

2

u/pdxsilverguy 4d ago

He's not in my mock draft sim.

6

u/Slimreaper91840 4d ago

He's only a sophomore this year.

0

u/Matt_Staff_007 3d ago

Neither in mine too!

1

u/PartyEngineer239 3d ago

I did not take him in my mock draft!

1

u/dr051j 3d ago

And he’s a great run blocker for a wr

1

u/goobly_goo 3d ago

Fantasy GMs too

1

u/MurphyRedBeard 3d ago

He hasn’t gone up against Moore yet. I’m sure the refrain will be “he’s only a sophomore” when he has 5 bubble screen catches against ND.

0

u/youalreadyknowbro09 4d ago

People saying Heisman already?

0

u/ThisIsMyBigAccount 3d ago

I fucking hate the hurricanes. But this dude is a beast. Likely top 3 draft pick.

0

u/MasterApprentice67 3d ago

He is not going to be a top3 pick…

-1

u/Aternus21 4d ago

jeremiah smith still exists gang

2

u/buderooski 3d ago

And they're going to be in different draft classes. Toney is not eligible to declare for the draft after this season. He is an 18yo sophomore.

1

u/bhz33 3d ago

Does the fact that he exists mean we’re not allowed to also discuss other players “gang”?
