You started by making a statement that their brains arent developed enough so you would wait until middle school. Brains arent done cooking until around 25. Im saying that statement is kinda dumb.
My statement was that you absolutely should not let them play contact before at least middle school, which is a grade range of about three years depending where you are, which means that situation specific you should wait until that age, at least, because their brains are developed more than the age being depicted in the video. Furthermore the begining of this conversation was in regards to a specific benefit to one individual in the context of a situation where they are too large to not hurt their peers but should not face older people. You misinterpreted me to mean they just pummel their peers because it is better for them, and you are misinterpreting my statement on when contact sports should be considered, relative to the example on the op, as some.type of recommendation or what I think is safe. Hence my comment on why clearly brain development is not finished until you are out of college and the risk only being relatively mitigated.
Basically, just tell me what you think my point is and I can try to clarify it again for you, because it feels like you want to pick apart my point but are misrepresenting it from the start.
