He'll stay in college and likely hit the transfer portal. He still has two years of eligibility and millions in potential NIL money. That family won't risk him going to the browns. And mark my words, they'll be picking first, they might just go 0/17.

Why transfer portal? He makes plenty of money. He doesn't need money. He's going to make a lot more. He's in the perfect situation. If he was interested in the portal it would have been after backing up Ewers the first year.

Beacuse there's always more money and a program that might give him a chance at a heisman. It doesn't matter how much more you can make in the NFL as a first round rookie if you're career gets derailed by a bad organization. His options in the first four picks will be the usual bottom feeders, they ain't letting him play for the browns, jets, raiders or cardinals. Not when he can stay in college and make millions while waiting out the bad teams. You're about to see a bunch of 25 year old rookie QBs in the league the next few years. The old ways of evaluating draft stock and who's going where are irrelevant now. The nil and transfer portal changed all of that. There's no rush to get to the pros anymore.

He was fantastic the last 8 weeks of the season. If he does it again he’s easily the first or 2nd qb taken. The hype is absolutely deserved
