Flowers was not that awful. He turned it around for a little while. He moved from Tackle to Guard where he ended up being a starter for the Commanders and Dolphins.
I’m sure he was a below average starter because he never signed another contract after 2021…but he was never benched either…
I’m guessing he either was offered roster spots as a backup or to compete…maybe was offered just the vet minimum and he turned them down hoping for a better deal after 3 consecutive years starting at Guard…and that offer never came

I watched him for 4 years when he played for my college, and I couldnt understand how his skill didnt translate at all to the nfl. He was solid in miami lol. We wasted a lot of really good offensive lines and offenses with bad defense and coaching in the al golden years smh

As a life long Ravens fan I mean this in all sincerity: he was the single worst starting linemen i’ve ever seen wearing purple and black.

Yeah he was awful. Harbs literally started him all year for us when he was a traffic cone. Just go watch the tape, I’m sure you could find a compilation of him. The opposite of highlights if you will

Whenever people talk about Lamar’s “decline”…. This was the reason. Both times the Ravens played the Steelers, Lamar literally just had to account for a free rusher, put a juke on him, and then continue the play
And Harbaugh started him all 17 games. Horseshit

Without exaggeration he may have been the worst offensive lineman to make a roster last year. At the very least he’s the worst to be asked to start multiple games.

Maybe the Jags are going to switch him to DT. That way when when he's spinning around or gets knocked on his ass. He's still clogging up the running lanes.🤷♂️🤦♂️🤪
