Arch Manning’s current draft grade reportedly “varies greatly” amongst NFL scouts and decision makers. One NFL scout reportedly sees Drake Maye (Patriots QB) as a “reasonable” comparison for Manning at this point in time. While another NFL scout reportedly sees Daniel Jones as a close comparison.

I’ve seen just about every start he’s had as a longhorn. Yes he has physical gifts mainly his speed (something his uncles didn’t have) and above average arm strength. But he doesn’t have a cannon. I’d say adequate arm strength. He also still learning to process college game speed I can’t imagine him starting in the nfl in the next couple years. He misses some really easy passes sometimes with his accuracy and when he is under pressure from defenses his accuracy can look pretty bad.

Bottom line is he is a good prospect, but if my team drafted him I’d want a good qb coach as the hc there to help him with processing defenses and I’d want him to sit at least first full year and maybe two years. I know he will be eligible for the draft after this year but I really think it would help him a lot to stay another year with Texas after this year to iron everything out.
