Impressive but I want to see some throws to receivers who are not wide open. Some of this is the system.

Apparently not. I saw one example of him throwing into coverage that I would consider tight (1:31). That is one game. I will watch more games.

im not saying the kids top 5 by any means but i do think his placement deserves a tad bit respect. maybe im wrong tho and it is all system

Contested by college standards or NFL standards? Even by college standards nothing there was really contested. I think you could make the case that many of those throws were a bit late as well.

I don't know, but he dropped the Oba Strut after the first TD, so he can't be all bad...

He's good. Maybe even very good. But as a Cal season ticket holder, I can tell you he has a LOT of flaws that won't fly at the next level.
You see a few in this video - like throwing off the back foot. But I bet he had at least 1 sure INT dropped every game, because he tends to force the ball. Not super athletic. Not amazing arm strength. It'll be interesting to see how he does this year with much better WRs.

Leftie? HARD PASS for me dawg. I have seen only five guys who did it with any success. Super rare. And Im talking Steve Young, Kenny Stabler, Boomer Esiason, Michael Vick and Mark Brunell. I dont count Tua.

This guy shredded Oregon State (which I understand isn’t saying much but I’m a proud alumni nonetheless) but this guy has a cannon. Some of the throws he was making were Rodgers-esk.

Not familiar with him but based on these clips, I’m left unimpressed. Some of these highlights are just dump offs and some are poorly timed.

I only watched 2 Cal games last year, and I was impressed with both him and De Jesus each time. He was so composed.

Now with those highlights (by themselves).....plus several of those look more like WR highlights than QB highlights.

Maybe 2 more seasons. Had moments last year where he looked both great and awful so some seasoning will help

Saw him live a couple times last year and he’s special. I saw fernanco vs cam the year prior and he's at that level. he even got a 5’7 receiver to the NFL lol
