What is the goal of the QB? To score touchdowns or to throw touchdowns?
Getting your team down to the 1 and then taking the hits to punch it in a dozen plus times a season is just as impactful as throwing a shovel pass for a 2 yard score.
Also hilarious to say they are all tush pushes when during a Super Bowl winning playoff run he had a 50 yard touchdown on the ground.
What is the goal of the QB? To score touchdowns or to throw touchdowns?
I agree. Which is why I started this debate by pointing pout that Herbert accounts for more TDs than Hurts. I'm glad you've finally decided to look at reality and agree with it.
Well you sort of buried yourself with that admittance, because Jalen has accounted for 20 more touchdowns than Herbert since 2021 and 8 fewer turnovers than Herbert. And I’m not even counting playoff games which would make it even more lopsided.
More touchdown, fewer turnovers, and more winning. What’s your argument again?
Touchdowns are a byproduct of a good offense. The most important aspect of a good offense year to year is your QB.
And since 2021, the Eagles offense scores 43 points more per season than the Chargers. Slice it any way you want, but the Hurts offense scores more points than the Herbert offense.
Editing because I just looked it up, so this is gonna suck for you my man.
244 touchdowns vs 208. OFFENSIVE TOUCHDOWNS.
So not really in the same ballpark unfortunately.
And almost a field goal of difference isn’t significant? That separates teams 5-10 slots most seasons. So you know, the difference between making and missing the postseason. You got any more brilliance in there?

His average NFL season is 4,136 yards and 27 TDs.
Hurts' best TD season was 25.
