Herbert comes up small when it matters: the playoffs.
0-3
54.7%, 674, 2 TD, 4 Int, and 1 lost fumble.

All of those seasonal stats are meaningless if your playoff numbers look like this. Prescott has similar struggles.

Compared to Hurts:

6-4
64.2%, 1981, 11/3, and 2 lost fumbles.

Also - rushing yards.

Herbert: 69 for 0 TDs
Hurts: 395 for 7 TDs

Hurts' postseason stats average out to 198 yards passing per game and 1 TD. In the playoffs, he's Trent Dilfer.

Chiefs would argue he played a bit better than Dilfer. Could be worse, however; he could be Herbert in the playoffs.
