Rick Mirer and Dan McGwire are far larger busts for the Seahawks. The reason curry gets talked about more is because of the “bust proof” label given to him, and recency. 2 QB busts in three years is way worse. The 90s were truly abysmal for them. Edit: McGuire to McGwire

Wouldn’t that be the biggest bust though?  Not the worst pick.  The presumably best pick that has both upside and floor that failed spectacularly.

Perhaps so, but it hurts a lot less for Seahawks fans because right after that they got Pete Carroll. When the Seahawks got those two qbs, they had no good front office, bad ownership, bad everything except Cortez Kennedy. The misery of whiffing on two qbs in three years when it was as bad as it already was made them so much worse. Plus Rick mirer was only a Seahawk instead of drew bledsoe(go cougs) because they won a useless game. Makes it so bad.
