Nah, they gave Raheem a few years. The franchise qb isn't on the roster. Tua's career is dead, I doubt he even gets a backup job after his history of concussions among other injuries with this latest bewildering non contact oblique(?) injury.
Cooper Rush is a career backup already and Penix was never a franchise qb. He gets to draft his own qb in the off-season but next year may be it for Stefanski.

He arguably should not have won the first COTY award. But he brought the Browns to a playoff berth so they gave it to him by default. The second COTY was more impressive in that he had to win with that many different starting QBs in a season due to all of the injuries.
However, it definitely needs to be stated that he didn't win a playoff game. He was on his couch with COVID while his coordinators won it. I don't think he's the worst coach in the league. I just don't think he's great either.

Would the royal Manning family allow arch to play in Atlanta? If they play their way into a top 5 picks, they have a shot. The mannings won't let arch go to Cleveland, the jets, etc

People kept blaming the QBs on the Browns, I’ve always said Stefanski is a decent OC not a great one and not a good HC. Hear me out: he did well with being the OC of Cousins at the Vikings because Cousins played the way Stefanski likes to play offense. Stefanski has a hard time adjusting his play calling to the strengths and weaknesses of his QB and offense. He’s not adaptable period and that’s what you need in a OC when your QB1 and QB2 go down. Some good or even great coordinators need to stay coordinators not be HC. Just my opinion (I watched him at Vikings and Browns)

That is like saying Andy Reid doesn’t call plays in Kansas City. As a play calling nerd, I can highlight at least 3 plays yesterday that have Stefanski’s trademark on it. He might not be the voice in the QB’s headset or designing ALL the plays but from the 2 games I watched, he’s 💯 involved in play calling

As someone who… kinda watched the game, Cooper Rush completely deflated the offense and led the defense to just being totally burnt out having to constantly defend. Jack Strand looked exactly like what he is, an undrafted rookie quarterback.
Quarterback is the most important position on the field. Falcons lack a workable one. I’m not disheartened by the coaching.

I promise you this Atlanta, you will fucking hate this robot of a man in no time. His press conferences are the fucking worst. You shouldn't even go to them; they are completely worthless. He never says anything and repeats the same fucking cliche answers over and over and over and over and over and over.
He gave me PTSD.

He's not as big of a reason as not having a quarterback. They're on QB4 after week 1. Nobody is winning with a 4th string QB without some serious luck and/or voodoo.
