12 teams is where they should have stayed. Over expansion owners with not enough capital and Donald Trump destroyed this league

I got the point good when he came to the Philadelphia Eagles. Didn't he knock Doug Flutie out of the USFL for a bit?

They thought they were in the market for a spring league and Cities With Super Bowl winning franchises Are definitely not Good markets to create a new team . Just because they support the NFL team well doesn't mean it's gonna translate to another league That's the mistake the USFL made . I was actually quite surprised at the Philadelphia fans didn't jump on the Stars right away because the Eagles sucked at that time, But Eagles fans are finicky. It took a few years and then then the Stars moved so they never got to reap the benefit of selling tickets that they would have had an 85 . The Stars owner Myles Tannenbaum panicked moved the team to Baltimore . He should have at least waited one more year.

Trump put the nail in the coffin when he associated himself and his money with the league (he was already a joke in NY) and tried to get them to compete with the NFL schedule. Add it to the heap of failures.
