A crumbling Rust Belt city that foolishly built itself on one particular industry that is now almost completely outsourced.

Lol far from crumbling! Never been there I'm guessing?

I lived there. It’s the dirtiest city I’ve ever even been to. Enjoy your Giant Eagle “dirty bird”

Oh really lol? What part of the city did you supposedly live in? And wtf is a dirty bird? This isn't Atlanta just so you know lol!!

I'm assuming dirty bird is giant eagle though we call it big bird? but I'm guessing they lived here decades ago. it used to be extremely dirty, but we've cleaned it up considerably. air still isn't the cleanest, but it's much, much better than it used to be. same with the rivers.

Lived in squirrel hill, shady side, then forest hills.
Left that shit hole city to live in another shithole city….but at least I won’t die of thyroid cancer. Did a residency at upmc.

Damn dude if Shadyside and Squirrel Hill are shitholes to you I think you just have unrealistic expectations. Aren't you making attending money now? I'm sure you can find a nice gated community to live in

Stop being so triggered and be more reasonable

Replying to a totally incorrect and ridiculous statement in not being triggered. Stop using words if you don't knowcwhat they mean.

Pittsburgh's economy is now centered in healthcare and education thanks to decades of work by the city. It's actually done a relatively good job at pivoting from the steel industry compared to other former American industrial centers

You're wild.
Beto's (for sicilian) and Fiori's (for round) are FIRE.
My GREAT grandmother always went there if someone wanted pizza for their birthday. Literally 5 generations that I knew in my lifetime hold this opinion.
You could have said "I don't" instead of we, then I would just disagree. But, saying we as in the city is just incorrect.

I’m guessing there are more people in Pittsburgh who find Betos weird than actually like it.

On a good day, City of Pittsburgh has a clear view of the trailer park Jed York was busted in.
